We spent most of the afternoon driving around and stopping all along the way to check stuff out.
After our drive we decided to stop at the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center! The bears were awesome. There were two younger bears that were running around chasing each other most of the time we were watching. After the Discovery Center we were stopped for dinner and ice cream then baths and bed.
Sunday morning we took a drive to Quake Lake. This is a lake that was created from an earthquake on August 17, 1959. The earthquake killed 28 people. We watched a video in the visitor center that was really interesting. They say that eventually the lake will drain out into the river flowing out of it and just be a river.. no more Quake Lake. Along the edges you could see the trees that it covered.
On our way home Sunday evening we stopped at Mesa Falls just outside Ashton, ID. We took a small walk to the edge and enjoyed the nice cool mist coming off the falls.
