Dog update!

We took Tear to her first weight pull Feb 11. She did GREAT! There was 8 dogs in her weight class and she took 3rd! We are so pleased with her. She ended up pulling 3065 lbs, in just over 16 seconds, which is 45 times her body weight. Tear is just over a year old and we love her to pieces. She is quite the fireball.. She has SO much energy and loves attention. She LOVES Lincoln, she always wants to lick him all over.

Rip is almost one year old.. Tear and Rip are about 2 weeks apart. Rip is our gentle giant. He is going to be a big boy when he grows up. Right now he weighs more than Bosley. He has a BIG head. He is a bit of a dork... he will sit in the corner of the yard and watch for things to blow in the wind, then he will bark at them and chase them. It is so funny!  He also loves to play, especially one on one

Last, but certainly not least, is Bosley and Butters! Bosley is 6 and Butters is 3. They are going to have puppies next month!! We are so excited to have our first litter. Judd is really excited for these puppies. He has been planning on this breeding for about a year and a half. We've had Bosley since he was 3 and Butters came to our family about 6 months ago. Bosley is very protective, not only of us and the house but of the other dogs too. When we had puppies (Cupcake, Molly & Alba) he made sure that no one would pet them through the fence while we were gone. Butters is Tear's mom and has a firey personality like Tear. She has been an amazing addition to the family. Like Tear, She also loves Lincoln. She hasn't been around babies much so she makes us a little nervous but she wants to be around Lincoln and always tries to lick him and snuggle up with him.. we don't let her yet. :) One day when I am more comfortable with her being closer to Lincoln I think they will be great friends!
